Independent preparatory schools do not have to follow the National Curriculum
or submit test results to the Department for Education so there is no individual
school performance data or star rating.
Visit the school's website to learn more about their unique curriculum,
policies on testing and common leaver
destinations (a good indicator of pupil progress).
See our About page for information on
Choosing A Prep School.
Pupils are happy and proud to attend this school. They arrive on time each day. Pupils rightly said that they are safe and well cared for. Parents and carers echoed this view. Typically, they said their children ‘thrive’ in this nurturing environment. Pupils get on well together and with staff. They behave well in lessons and around the school. Pupils feel confident that staff will deal with bullying on the rare occasion it occurs. Staff have high expectations of pupils’ achievement. These expectations are more fully realised in early reading and mathematics. Pupils do not develop the same depth of knowledge in the wider curriculum. This means that they are not as well prepared for secondary school. Pupils engage well with their learning. They enjoy participating in the school’s currency-based rewards system. Pupils collect, ‘Perutahs’ which they convert to ‘Issars’ and eventually exchange for prizes. They appreciate their learning about the British values of tolerance and respect. Pupils apply these values in the school and wider community. For example, Year 6 pupils take part in a programme whereby they use 10 pounds to buy food for a family for one week. This teaches them about budgeting and to have compassion for people less fortunate than themselves.

This school is independently managed and its admission criteria may be selective. Contact the school directly or visit their website for more information on Admissions Policy and Procedures.
2015 GCSE RESULTSImportant information for parents
Due to number of reforms to GSCE reporting introduced by the government in 2014, such as the exclusion of iGCSE examination results, the official school performance data may not accurately report a school’s full results. For more information, please see About and refer to the section, ‘Why does a school show 0% on its GSCE data dial? In many affected cases, the Average Point Score will also display LOW SCORE as points for iGCSEs and resits are not included.
Schools can upload their full GCSE results by registering for a School Noticeboard. All school results data will be verified.
