"> I am a parent who had our son in this private school from Yr7 to Yr9. Whilst there is prestige and many accolades the school promotes, and its relentless pursuit to be the best in its class, there are some key elements within its framework that have been dismissed in my opinion: 1. The School Anti Bullying Policy 2. Drugs and behaviour at school 3. Diversity and LGBT (non-existent) Fundamentally, as parents, when putting your child into a school, we want the journey to be a positive experience, making friends, growing in confidence, and learning to become well-rounded young adults. We feel our son's wellbeing was neglected, as a result, he was bullied regularly, to the point, we had to take him out. During the year 9 term, no dialogue from the school was given, about our son's grades and the extent of the bullying he experienced. We lost the opportunity for early intervention. He is now at a good school, and he is much happier there. He receives support for his previous experience. So before deciding on choosing the school, please make extensive enquiries, be subjective, and keep an open mind before you take the option. The concerns have been outlined.
