School Description

The Glasgow Academy is a high-achieving Co-ed day school for children aged 3-18. Founded in 1845, it prides itself on the all-round education and exceptional opportunities its pupils enjoy. Its purpose-built Prep School (2008) at Kelvinbridge and two other primary and Nursery sites in Newlands and Milngavie make it a school for the whole of Glasgow and beyond. A nurturing environment, specialist teaching and coaching, around 20 sports and £26 million invested in class-leading and award-winning facilities over the last decade provide unique opportunities for children to have fun learning, develop confidence and 'can do, will do', and excel. Key to that is the exceptional range of activities and support, inspiring teachers, individual attention and smaller classes.

The Glasgow Academy Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“A thank you from mum”

My son did his 6th year at this school and had a fantastic time. What lovely welcoming people. Pupils, teachers, all staff. I can't praise it enough and would recommend anyone to send their children here.
