THE CROFT PREPARATORY SCHOOL

The Croft Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school for children from 2 to 11 years old, situated in a beautiful, 30-acre site on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon. The School has over 400 pupils, with class sizes of no more than 20 pupils.

The Croft is a vibrant, forward-thinking school, based on traditional values. It offers a diverse range of opportunities within a broad and balanced curriculum. A family-based school, The Croft typically provides teaching in small groups, where discipline and a wider knowledge of the world, both spiritual and geographical, is encouraged. Music, Sport and Drama each play an important part.

In March 2012, the School opened its 600-seat Theatre and fully equipped 400m2 Sports Hall.  Mundell Court was completed in 2009, a two-storey building providing additional, spacious teaching areas for ICT, DT, PSHE and Mathematics. It also incorporates a small-scale performance space.

The whole School was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in June 2015 and was awarded 'Outstanding' and 'Excellent' overall, with Early Years awarded 'Outstanding' in all areas.

At The Croft School, safeguarding and the welfare of our children are of paramount importance.

The Croft Preparatory School is regulated by the Department for Education (www.education.gov.uk) and is noted on the Edubase Register available at www.education.gov.uk/edubase
