School Description

Founded in 1946 and set in beautiful, rural surroundings, the main house dates back to Elizabethan times. Academically, St Margaret's provides excellence, stretching each child to the best of their ability. The school has choirs, an orchestra as well as numerous concerts and plays throughout the year. PE and sport are an important part of the curriculum.

We are an independent school based in seven acres of listed parkland in the heart of Gosfield, North Essex; come and discover why St. Margaret’s is such a special place.
