“Wonderful caring environment”

"> Red Balloon learner centre on Drayton Road Norwich is a wonderful caring environment for our daughter. The staff really do go the extra mile to ensure our daughter feels safe and listened to, after suffering years of debilitating anxiety which prevented her from attending school. Since being with Red balloon, her confidence has improved a lot and she’s built up good relationships and trust with many of the staff. She enjoys learning with Red Balloon and finally feels understood. It really is an amazing place.

"> Red Balloon - Norwich led by Mark Anderson has given my child a second chance at education. For almost two years in a mainstream setting my son had 20% attendance and had lost trust in the eduction system often refusing to walk through the school gates. They are now at Red Balloon - Norwich attending 86% and making improved social progress. Red Balloon - Norwich have also taken the time to get my son assessed for dyslexia and an ADHD screening. This is something his mainstream school over looked but will have a huge impact on his progress into the world of work and life. Thank you!

"> The national average re GCSEs is not a worthwhile measure re this school! For many children, any GCSE results represent an enormous journey. The school is tremendous, extremely well-managed and has made an enormous difference to the learning journey of my child. In the space of a year, we now have a child who will negotiate simple tasks like buying an item in a shop - a huge transformation in confidence! School also offers an impressive range of qualifications and works tirelessly to find positive ways forward for all types of learner. We are hugely impressed and would not know where we would be without Red Balloon!

"> My daughter has attended Red Balloon for 2 years and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She has a bespoke timetable, with constant communication about her strengths and weaknesses, and an adaptive approach which means when her needs change, her timetable does too. She has a way to go but has grown in resilience and confidence, going from a complete school refuser to attendance of over 70%. This is an excellent provision for those students that need a pupil focussed approach in a supportive understanding environment.
“Excellence at Red Balloon Drayton Road Norwich.”

"> My daughter was at this school for 3 years. Under the headship of Mark Anderson and his team my daughter flourished. She was cared for with her medical needs that mainstream school had failed to do for her. Red Balloon goes the extra mile for all their students and I cannot recommend Red Balloon Drayton Road enough!
