Orchard House School, located in Chiswick, is a co-educational prep school for children aged 3 to 11. We focus on nurturing each child’s unique talents in a dynamic and supportive environment. With small class sizes and a commitment to outstanding pastoral care, our pupils are inspired to achieve their best. Our comprehensive curriculum, the Learning Orchard, includes dedicated time in our Innovation Hub for hands-on STEM learning and creative exploration in the Art Studio. A philosophy and oracy programme develops confident communicators, while the Reading Explorer (KS1) and Reading Scholar (KS2) programmes foster a love of reading and support independent literacy. Music and drama are vibrant cornerstones of school life, with music embedded from the Early Years and pupils able to participate in 12 ensembles, five choirs and the orchestra. Sport is also a central part of school life, with pupils enjoying twice-weekly PE and Games lessons, seasonal sports, and swimming from Year 2. Inclusive opportunities allow all children to represent the school in fixtures and events. We celebrate achievements through weekly assemblies and prepare pupils for prestigious senior schools.
