Northampton High School GDST Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“An exceptional School”

We are enormously proud of our daughter and feel her progress... not just academically but also socially and emotionally ... has been tremendous. She arrived at your school a shadow compared to the young woman she is leaving you. Stronger, more confident and determined to make her mark in and on the world. You and the school as a whole have made a bigger difference than I could have ever hoped for.” - Sixth Form parent
“The best decision we made!”

I can honestly say it was the best decision we could have made for her. In a week her confidence has grown, made a couple of new friends, her attitude towards learning has massively improved and she is looking forward to school tomorrow.” - Junior School parent
“Highly Recommend”

What this school offers is very special and aligns with our values, something which is far from guaranteed in either the state or independent sector. We feel incredibly fortunate that our daughter is able to benefit from the education on offer here. Thank you.”
Great school. As a current parent, I couldn't speak any higher of its accomplishments and staff.

WHY CHOOSE A GIRLS-ONLY SCHOOL?

Girls thrive in environments tailored to their unique learning styles, as they are given the freedom to experiment, fail without judgment, and develop confidence.

At Northampton High, girls can take on leadership roles, collaborate, and build self-worth while being prepared for the co-ed world outside. Research shows that girls excel in classrooms without gender-based expectations, and at Northampton, this creates an inclusive community where they believe they can achieve anything. Girls' education is crucial for shaping a brighter, more equitable future for all.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR ISI INSPECTION REPORT

Our latest inspection report speaks directly to who we are and what a great school should be doing. We are exceptionally proud of our work so it is encouraging to have this formally acknowledged. Here are just a few of the key inspection findings:

"“Pupils apply themselves readily to acquiring new skills and are willing to take risks in their learning.”

“Pupils value the numerous opportunities to contribute their ideas and views. They say they are listened to.”

“Pupils of all ages, including children in the early years, can get involved in community service projects. These activities improve pupils’ feelings of self-worth and promote their social development.”

“Leaders have a focus on promoting digital technology to inspire pupils to use technology effectively, confidently and successfully.”
