Pupils enjoy coming to school. They form close bonds with each other in this small and caring community. The school’s atmosphere is calm and focused on learning. Pupils are polite, respectful and treat each other well. They attend regularly and behave well in lessons and around the school. They feel safe here. There is always somebody available to help, which pupils appreciate. The school has high expectations of pupils’ achievement. Teachers work effectively to ensure pupils learn the curriculum and gain the qualifications that they need to take their next steps. This includes sixth-form students, who typically proceed successfully to study at university. The broad curriculum is enhanced by regular assemblies, workshops, trips, and events. These help to build pupils’ knowledge, skills, and cultural awareness beyond the classroom. Pupils especially enjoyed recent local trips in London to museums, art galleries and London Zoo, and residential trips to Italy and Spain. Pupils articulate and debate their different views confidently and respectfully in personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education lessons. As a result, they develop empathy and tolerance, and the ability to make informed decisions. Pupils are well prepared to recognise and respect both British and Greek values.

2015 GCSE RESULTSImportant information for parents
Due to number of reforms to GSCE reporting introduced by the government in 2014, such as the exclusion of iGCSE examination results, the official school performance data may not accurately report a school’s full results. For more information, please see About and refer to the section, ‘Why does a school show 0% on its GSCE data dial? In many affected cases, the Average Point Score will also display LOW SCORE as points for iGCSEs and resits are not included.
Schools can upload their full GCSE results by registering for a School Noticeboard. All school results data will be verified.
