We show the latest pre-pandemic academic results for 34,000 schools in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and have added some additional features to help parents choose the best school for their child. Progress Compared With All Other Schools

Easy-to-read graphs that show how a school's results compare categorised as Well Above Average, Above Average, Average, Below Average and Well Below Average.

School Results Over Time

These results over time show historic performance for key exam results. We show pre-pandemic results as the fairest indicator of whether performance is up, down or stable.

How Many Parents Recommend The School

In addition to our hugely popular TripAdvisor-style parent reviews of schools – by parents; for parents – we have added the percentage of parents that recommend over 16,000 schools according to the latest Ofsted Parent View survey.

School Guide Star Ratings 2025

School Guide gives each school a unique rating, ranging from one to five stars. The rating gives a clear and easily understood summary of how well each school has performed in the previous year based on key statistics. The School Guide rating is based on official data and is 100% objective. Data points used to calculate the School Guide star rating include key performance data and inspection ratings.
