Julian Wag, our Area Advisor for Oxfordshire (he also tutors Science to A level), believes passionately that tuition on a one-to-one basis is fundamental to the learning process. It enables pupil and tutor to engage on a personal basis and learn through patient explanation and questioning to make the whole process an enjoyable and positive experience. Carolyn Watson, who has worked closely with Julian over the past 6 years, will be your initial contact. She will personally arrange your tuition after discussing the pupil’s personal requirements.

If you suspect your child needs additional tuition in maths or English, Kip McGrath's fully qualified teachers are well placed to advise you. On your first visit, your child will be given a free educational assessment. This is the start of the journey. From this assessment we can target specific areas of weakness and create an individual learning programme for your child.
Butterfly Tutoring has the aim of helping children manage their emotions so their time in school would be better utilised. Since then we have expanded to tutor many subjects including English, Maths and Science from key stage 1 right up to A levels.
