YORK'S TOP SCHOOL FOR A LEVELS

Principal Julie Lodrick says, "Being adaptive to the individual is an advantage of having small class sizes. Students enjoy mutually supportive relationships with our staff, and feel connected throughout The Mount's school community. This creates an atmosphere where girls are confident enough to take risks academically; feeling safe to fail, they are free to explore and extend their boundaries of possibility."

A parent of a current student at The Mount said, "The Mount is genuinely caring and brings the most potential out of its students. It's often mentioned that the school is a 'family'; the interaction between girls, from the top of the school through to the very first years, is endearing. Personally, I like everything about The Mount. My daughter always had a sunny disposition but this has magnified ten times since she moved here from London. She loves everything about it and even likes getting up in the morning to go there - amazing for a teenager!"
