School Description

Firwood Manor is a non-selective independent preparatory school for boys and girls, aged two to 11 years, and is part of the Alpha Schools Group. The early years provision consists of a Nursery class and a Reception class. Pupils are taught in a joint Year 1 and 2 class, and in single-aged classes in the rest of the school. There are a small number of pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. A tiny minority of pupils have a statement of special educational needs. The headteacher has been in post since June 2014.

MESSY PLAY AT LITTLE GEMS
Join us for an afternoon of fun activities for children aged 2 to 4 years old.

Make your own creative art, dig out some bugs in slimy spaghetti, build the sand castle of your dreams or just have fun in our adventure playground, there's something for everyone!

Parents are warmly encouraged to stay, meet fellow local parents or maybe even join in with some of the creative games on offer...

Our Messy Play Group takes place every Friday during term time between 14:00 and 15:00. There is no charge for these events but spaces are limited so If you would like to attend please give us a call on 0161 620 6570 or email [email protected].
