DEVELOPING THE WHOLE GIRL

Our priority at Sutton High Junior School is to enable the girls to be happy, confident and independent. We believe that if the girls enjoy coming into school they will develop a love of learning and feel supported to try challenges, to explore, and to discover their individual talents and gifts.

Our Junior School aims to develop your daughter both pastorally and academically by getting to know her individual personality and skills set. We value the whole girl, from our academic focus, ensuring that we develop their growth mindset, through a connected curriculum, to their enrichment in our extracurricular programme.

Girls can join our Nursery in the half- term before their third birthday, and we provide wraparound care during term time.

Prospective girls visit us for an assessment and do not want to leave. The empathy our girls and staff have is clear the moment you walk through the door.

GOLD STANDARD CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Sutton High School is delighted to have been awarded the Career Mark Gold Award for the fourth year running.

Our girls are encouraged to consider career options from an early stage, but to keep an open mind throughout their years at Senior School. The wealth of advice and information available and the biennial Careers Fair gives the girls the support and guidance they need to make choices about their future.

Career Mark commented: “Sutton High School is to be commended for its consistent commitment to the provision of high quality careers education and guidance over many years.”
