Book for our next Open Morning to tour the school, meet staff and pupils, hear from the Headteacher and experience the atmosphere at St Clare’s. Our Open Mornings are held once a month during term-time.  They start at 9:00am with a welcome talk from the Head, followed by a tour of the school.

However at St. Clare's, every day is an Open Day! We would be delighted to welcome you to visit at a time to suit you.

Individual private tours offer you the opportunity to take a private tour of the school and its grounds, meet our staff and pupils and see for yourself why our school is such a special place.

Founded in 1938, St Clare's is situated in beautiful grounds in the historic village of Newton, on the outskirts of Porthcawl and only a short distance from the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and the Vale of Glamorgan. We are ideally situated for families as far west as Neath and as far east as Cowbridge and its surrounding villages. Come and discover why St. Clare’s is such a special place.

GCSE Results

St. Clare’s School celebrated excellent GCSE results! St Clare’s has been delivering the English curriculum for GCSE examinations and not the Welsh which means that St Clare’s students sat the new reformed GCSEs in English Language, English Literature and Maths this summer. The new GCSEs will ensure that students leave school with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. They cover more challenging content and are designed to match standards in the strongest performing education systems elsewhere in the world.
