If you would like to visit the school you are welcome to arrange a tour of the school with our Registrar on a normal school day. During your visit you will normally meet Richard Settle, the Head, and also the relevant Form Teacher or Head of Department. Naturally, you will be shown around the school and there will be plenty of opportunity to meet current pupils.

Open Days are a chance for parents and children to find out much more about what it’s like at Sancton Wood. Children can watch and involve themselves in a variety of activities, and talk to pupils about school life. Parents can meet staff and pupils informally, and learn what the school’s brand of education means in practice.

If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact Registrar Fiona Haskell by email at [email protected] or phone on 01223 471703.

Our next Open Mornings will on the follow dates:

Sancton Wood is a school where every child finds their niche. Our small, supportive close-knit community of 200 boys and girls, is often likened to a family - a kind, tolerant school where everyone can find their place and be valued.

Our class sizes are very small, a maximum of 16 pupils, which creates a fabulous learning environment, where teachers have time for individual students and where pupils feel comfortable airing their ideas and where imaginations can soar.

Our exam results are excellent, and this year we achieved 96% A*-C pass rate. But the school is not just about exam results; art, music, sport and many other activites are all important aspects of life here and play their part in making well-rounded studetns with their lives in balance.
