Pupils are polite, friendly and confident. The values of responsible, determined and successful underpin everything pupils do. House captains run sessions with the pupils in their houses. These sessions highlight how pupils can show these values in their daily school life, which they do. Pupils strive to do their very best, even if they find learning challenging. They concentrate and engage with the discussions that take place in their classes. Pupils listen attentively to the staff as well as each other. They are courteous in their responses. Pupils enjoy their learning, as the staff make it interesting. They live up to the high expectations that staff have of them and achieve well. Pupils behave very well in and out of lessons. They respect and embrace everyone’s differences. Pupils are confident that if they need help because of unkindness or someone needs support with their behaviour they will get it. There are many leadership roles that the older pupils have that support the younger pupils. The peer mentors and sports crew are available on the playground to organise games and help pupils resolve any problems that others might have. This ensures that everyone has happy and safe playtimes.
