As it looks forward to its centenary celebrations in 2019, Oakleigh House is reflecting on the changes in education and in the school itself over the last 100 years. Each summer, Year 6 pupils eagerly look forward to a visit to Barcelona to explore the city and visit the British School of Barcelona, part of the Cognita Schools Group. Having received an award for excellence in its recent Estyn inspection, the school’s Personalised Learning approach benefits all pupils.  Inspectors judged the quality of support for children requiring additional help with their learning as being outstanding.  Equally, the school has received the Challenge Award accreditation from NACE, the National Association for Able Children in Education.  The award recognises the school’s provision for its most able and talented pupils.
