Leaders, including the proprietor and those responsible for governance, have not fulfilled their statutory responsibilities in several areas, including safeguarding. Weaknesses in the safeguarding systems used mean that pupils are not kept as safe as they should be. Pupils in the secondary phase follow a curriculum that does not consistently match the ambition of what is expected nationally. Pupils behave well and enjoy attending school. They value the small and diverse environment and are respectful towards each other. Pupils reported that bullying was rare, but if it did occur, they were confident to report it to a teacher. Pupils know how and where to share their worries. For example, older pupils are confident to go to student services for additional support, while primary-age pupils have access to worry boxes. Staff act on these concerns swiftly. Pupils benefit from attending a wide range of activities that develop their interests and talents in skills such as debating. Opportunities are provided for pupils to take on additional responsibilities. For example, the student council has worked with leaders to improve the range of meals offered.

“North London Grammar School. Y7 Parent Feedback”

My son is currently a year 7 student. Whilst the school has much to prove as it is in it's infancy of turning into a new reformed private/grammar school, I have no qualms in saying:
The school has undertaken excellent initiatives to aid learning. Interactive and comprehensive study guides. They have already started to understand those children that are talented /gifted and who excel in their work. They provide a broad spectrum of activities, which includes an enrichment programme built into the school timetable. The teachers so far have been on point and, in particular reference to my child, he has adapted well and learnt at a greater pace then I was expecting. The day is full and he struggles in the beginning to adapt to the volume of work (from state school to this). He has embraced it and is doing very well. The school send text messages if your child has excelled in a subject. They have a comprehensive website for parents, who can leave feedback and see each study plan and term curriculum. Currently there are few form groups. 1 in each year, so the size of each class is excellent. 18 in Y7. This allows each child to learn and have the attention they deserve. The school has a long way to go, but I feel confident in it's growth and expectations. Most of all. My child is very happy there.

2015 GCSE RESULTSImportant information for parents
Due to number of reforms to GSCE reporting introduced by the government in 2014, such as the exclusion of iGCSE examination results, the official school performance data may not accurately report a school’s full results. For more information, please see About and refer to the section, ‘Why does a school show 0% on its GSCE data dial? In many affected cases, the Average Point Score will also display LOW SCORE as points for iGCSEs and resits are not included.
Schools can upload their full GCSE results by registering for a School Noticeboard. All school results data will be verified.
