“Exceptional and unique school for my son”
"> An amazing school. We chose this school for my son after very careful thought. We had offers from other schools including RGS but my son is so happy and excelling here. Teachers are really great and you can really see the boys taking great pride and ownership of their school. I see this school as a unique place for my son to reach his potential fully. I certainly would recommend you make a visit.
“A school with a difference”
"> My son started NSB in 2012 entering in year 7, it was the school he had wanted to join for a few years and we were fortunate enough for him to be offered a place in 2012. The school made him welcome and have taken great care of him. He has had a few medical issues which are now under control, through out the whole period of diagnosis the school has been extremely supportive, providing him with additional assistance within a very caring atmosphere. I can honestly say that NSB treats every boy as an individual and works with them to bring the best out of them not only academically but as a person, something not all schools do! The headmaster and the teachers are brilliant, placing so much time and effort to extra curricular activities, there is always something going on from after school clubs, Duke of Edinburgh activities, to educational trips within the UK and abroad all of which are extremely well organised and very enjoyable for the boys. NSB is a school with a difference, obviously wanting each boy to achieve their best academically but also personally and this they strive to do. I would have no hesitation in recommending NSB to any parent but more importantly to any boy.
“Your son will excel here!!”
"> My son has been here since year 7, he has really enjoyed his time here, as I think he finds a smaller school less intimidating. He has always had the support of teachers, who , if there is a problem , don't make you feel like they are unapproachable , the head is also a very nice , down to earth bloke, who clearly wants the best for his students and makes decisions based on whether or not something could affect their studies, all the boys seem to respect him enormously, and I feel the school as a whole has come on tremendously with him at the helm. I know he gives up a lot of his free time to dedicate to his students. My son is now in 6th form & has some great friends who all seem to stick together, there has never been a problem ever with bullying, and I don't think I could have chosen a better school. The teachers ALL give a lot of their free time in helping the kids out, so in my experience it's been a win win situation I'm sure my son will get the A*'s he's aiming for, as he did fantastically well on his GCSE results this Summer. The school has clearly brought out the best in him and turned him into a hard working, conscientious young adult.. Thank you NSB
