Isle of Portland Aldridge Community Academy is a larger than average-sized school for pupils in all phases of education. The current principal took up post in November 2015. The principal is being supported by the interim executive principal of another multiacademy trust. This support was brokered by the regional schools commissioner. The academy is co-sponsored by the Aldridge Foundation and Dorset County Council.
