“Outstanding school!”

Our son started HGH last September and he loves it! We have noticed a significant improvement in his speech and overall confidence. We looked into many other schools in the area such as Saint Nick's and Bishop Stortford College and HGH, in our opinion, was far better. We are glad we sent our son to this outstanding school.
“Excellent foundation”

An excellent prep school that provided a solid foundation for my childrens secondary education. It has taught my two children's to be caring and respectful to others, to seize every opportunity and realise that success only comes with hard work.
“Father and grandfather of pupils”

Excellent school in every aspect with caring, professional staff who are committed to bringing the best out of every pupil. It is indeed a privilege to have witnessed first hand two generations of children who have attended Howe Green.
“The Howe Green effect”

Howe Green isn't just a school - it's an experience and everyone from the Head Teacher to the Caretaker are in on it. Teachers and TAs make exceptional teams and the children are always centre stage. The school instills happiness, confidence and uniqueness in the children, and they have fantastic facilities and resources too.
“An 'Outstanding' rated School”

I have a child at Howe Green and will be sending my 2nd child next year. We decided on the school due to the caring nature and ability to bring out the best in your child, which I have seen on a daily basis with my son. The teachers and headmistress know every child's name and are passionate about the standards. The parents are very social and keen to make new families welcome, the overall atmosphere is electric and I would have no hesitation in recommending the school.
“A parent's view”

Howe Green House School truly is a place that you have to see to believe as its magical. My son has been there since Acorns nursery and it is the perfect place for him. The staff are very attentive and help each child to grow in confidence and to be the best they can without any pressure. I strongly recommend a tour of the school and guarantee that once you walk through the school gate you wont want to leave.
“Highly recommended”

As a nanny for 29 years I have been involved with many schools and can honestly say that I have never known one as good as this one. The community feel, the way each pupil is applauded, the staff including the headmistress, the amazing facilities and events are first class. The first time I walked into the grounds I got such a lovely feeling; everyone seemed happy and the children were polite and well mannered yet at the same time not 'robotic' as many private schools often seem to require the children to be. All in all, a highly recommended small school for your child's first educational journey!
“Happy, friendly school”

A lovely, friendly school where children are treated as individuals and are guided and supported to achieve their full potential in all areas of their education.
“A magical school”

Howe green house school is truly excellent - a warm and happy place buzzing with life, where children are encouraged to be indipendent, happy in their own skin, and intellectually curious. The staff are wonderful - kind and patient, and they care for each student as an individual. The classes are small - normally 20 or less, and so there is plenty of 1:1 attention. As well as great teaching they boast a lovely campus with state of the art classrooms and plenty of outdoor space, and offer some extracurricular activities too, such as the brilliant school plays which are always a joy to watch! This school has a very special place in my heart and I truly would recommend it to anyone.
