News, Photos and Open Days from Holme Grange School

Last update: 30 April 2022

Holme Grange School is an Independent school for girls and boys aged 3-16 years. We offer a unique educational experience in an idyllic setting in 21 acres of Wokingham countryside. Each pupil can thrive in an environment offering a wide variety of opportunities in the classroom, on the stage or sports field and in our woodland outdoor learning areas.

The success of our school, and the people in it, is based on a pretty simple formula: a set of Learning Habits which guides our community and ensures that academic rigour and the development of the individual is central to everything we do - in an ever changing and competitive world, we understand the need to develop the softer skills of adaptability and character alongside academic capacity. We also believe that in order for our young people to become confident and meaningful future citizens, they must have developed self-awareness and a strong moral compass.

Schooling is about people, and in our school, you will find an environment where interpersonal relationships are fostered and children are valued and are individually known. It is from these firm foundations that pupils will flourish, drawing the confidence to take risks, to make mistakes and to learn freely from such experiences, and to rise to the challenge of meeting our high expectations.

We work with care and energy to ensure that our pupils benefit from a first class and truly unique educational experience and we take great pride in seeing the young people here at Holme Grange grow. Our parents describe the School as caring, friendly and warm which highlights our strong pastoral support and sense of community.

By the time they leave us, our students have developed the poise and presence, knowledge and skills to succeed in an ever changing world, and a future which is yet to be determined.
