Pupils are happy in school. Pupils learn a broad curriculum that is enriched through regular visits and visitors. They are enthusiastic about their learning and are well prepared for their next stage of education. Pupils have regular opportunities to sing and perform together within the school and the wider community. Pupils appreciate the many different clubs that are available at lunchtime and after school which they enjoy attending with their friends. Pupils behave well in lessons and at breaktimes. Pupils support each other and listen carefully to what others have to say. Relationships are positive between staff and pupils. This includes the early years where pupils learn the routines that help them to be independent. Pupils respond to the high expectations that staff have of their behaviour. Pupils say that bullying does not often happen. When it does, staff are quick to deal with it. Pupils are confident to talk to staff if they have worries or concerns. Pupils feel safe in school because they say there is always someone there to help them. Most parents are positive about the school. They appreciate the care staff show towards their children.
