School Description

Harrogate Ladies� College is the senior school for girls aged 11�18, on a campus of 603 students; boys and girls aged 2�11 attend our Pre-Prep and Prep Schools. In 2007 the ISI Inspection Report concluded that at Harrogate Ladies� College "the personal development of pupils of all ages and their pastoral care are outstanding." This is what we believe is the essence of a good education.

Whole School Open Morning - Thursday 24 September, 10-12pm

Bankfield Nursery, Highfield Prep School and Harrogate Ladies’ College are opening their doors on Thursday 24 September – why not come along and find out what makes us such a special place to learn! Our whole school Open Morning is the perfect introduction to our family of schools – particularly if you haven’t visited before.

You’re welcome to visit all of our schools, or just select the most relevant one to you at this time. The Open Morning takes place on a normal teaching day so you’ll get to see our schools in action. Here’s an idea of what to expect from our Open Morning:

  • Meet our Heads, staff and pupils
  • Tour our schools including our academic, extra-curricular and social facilities
  • Observe lessons and activities taking place
  • Ask questions and find out practical information about joining our family of schools
  • Hear specialist curriculum talks relevant to the different parts of our school –
    • Early Years Development (Bankfield)
    • A Day in the Life of a Reception Child (Highfield)
    • GCSE Curriculum (College)
    • A Levels – A Stepping Stone to University (6th Form)
