School Description

Gordonstoun is a full boarding school, for boys and girls aged 4 ½ - 18, set on a 200 acre woodland estate by the Moray coast, but within striking distance of two international airports. We pride ourselves on our pastoral system and the ethos of care throughout the school. Gordonstoun's uniquely broad curriculum encourages every individual to fulfil their potential academically, but it does more than that, it encourages them to fulfil their potential as human beings. Gordonstoun's curriculum encompasses academic ambition; world beating outdoor education and sail training; and an active engagement in service to the community by all of its pupils. Add to this an outstanding programme of drama, dance, sport and music where everyone is encouraged to participate. The school motto is Plus est en vous’ — There is more in you.
