Independent preparatory schools do not have to follow the National Curriculum or submit test results to the Department for Education so there is no individual school performance data or star rating.

Visit the school's website to learn more about their unique curriculum, policies on testing and common leaver destinations (a good indicator of pupil progress). See our About page for information on Choosing A Prep School.

School Description

Faraday is a small but growing independent school in East London. With small class sizes, they deliver a traditional education within a dynamic curriculum to appeal to children of all abilities and personalities. Faraday school is located at a riverside setting, within the vibrant and historic Trinity Buoy Wharf. Children come from the Tower Hamlets, Newham and Greenwich areas, and beyond, with a school bus providing access to the school. Some children travel by boat from North Greenwich Pier. They have a range of afterschool clubs and afterschool care to appeal to working parents.

Faraday School Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“Quality Education”

We have two children at the school and the standard of education is excellent. The staff are caring and attentive to the needs of the children.
“There are better options”

Teachers are good, however as a business the school sadly lacks a human side. As a parent, it can feel lie everything is an added extra.
“Faraday”

It seems to be a good school.
