“Best Pre-prep and Prep Experience”

My daughter is just completing year 6 at Coworth-Flexlands having joined in Reception. She has had an ideallic pre-prep & prep school life and as a parent my daughter being able to have these treasured memories is important for me. All aspects of school life including the academic, sporting, drama and the nurturing has been brilliant. I had a number of schools in the area my daughter could have gone to and choosing Coworth-Flexlands was the absolute right choice. My daughter is going on to her chosen secondary school well prepared and excited.
“Highly recommend”

We have had a truly wonderful experience at Coworth Flexlands School. The school has a beautiful rural setting and the children enjoy so many outdoor activities from Forest School, lessons in the brand new outdoor class room, playing in the newly cleared woodland to the inter-house vegetable growing contest. The class sizes are small and each child is nurtured and encouraged throughout each and every step of their journey. My daughter joined in reception and has thoroughly enjoyed her time at the school. There is care from early in the morning to 6pm in the evening with lots of fun activities after school. The performing arts is great at the school with teachers dedicated to putting on wonderful colourful shows each year. Once in Prep the school has a wealth of experience in helping the girls pass the entrance exams enabling them to go to the senior school of their choice. I would definitely recommend Coworth Flexlands School to anyone looking for a primary school in the this area.
“Lovely school!”

I have two girls who are currently at Coworth-Flexlands - one in pre-prep and one in prep. What made us choose this school is how they emphasise on each person’s individuality and progress, and how it lets each child play and learn in an extremely friendly environment. The school manages the academic education with great results and at the same time lets them be children and play - to learn for life rather than an exam. Being in this environment is truly making them become the personalities that they are and teaches them to treat everyone around them with respect and kindness. I am so happy that we made the choice to move to this school, and I am extremely confident that the school management and staff will support and guide my girls academically and in all other areas to be able to choose any senior school they might like in the future.
“Great School!”

My 3 children all started in Nursery and are still enjoying Pre-Prep and Prep. The nursery is definitely the best in the area, with the highly qualified and caring teaching staff, spatious classroom and large outside play area. Being attached to a school means they have opportunites to use the school's drama, computing and sports facilities and the children can stay for lunch. Moving into Reception from Nursery was so easy, as they had already started to form close friendships and the teaching staff around the school and children in the older years knew them too. The values of the school, and the care and attention of the teachers really shine through in producing happy, all rounded and well-mannered children. Smaller classes than some schools in the area is a huge bonus for the children academically, as the teaching staff really get to know your child's individual strengths, which helps the children perform to their best ability and gain so much confidence. The school offers such a great range of extra curricular activities such as judo, riding, tennis, chess, musical theatre, ballet, street dance etc. which gives the children so much opportunity at an age where they have so much energy to learn! Cannot recommend the school enough!
“Coworth-Flexlands School”

This school offers a personalised service. If you wish for independent consideration for your child it is available - the Head and teachers are easily accessible and know every child very well. Although not selective, it achieves excellent results with the range of abilities. A child's achievement in any area, however small or unusual, is celebrated, so by the end of Year 6 the girls are brimming with confidence and success. Being only one class intake per year means any girl who tries will be able to take part in music events or sports matches. In my experience, the Head Mrs Sweeney is reserved but focused, and involved with every aspect of the school to make each child the best they can be.
“A Hidden Gem”

Both of my girls have attended Coworth Flexlands since they were 3 yrs old. They joined Skylark Nursery which gave them a great deal of confidence and wonderful opportunities to learn through play. The school has a wealth of grounds and facilities which enables children of all ages to experience so much throughout their school life including Forest School which is a fabulous outdoor learning experience bringing the children closer to nature. My eldest daughter is now about to leave Yr6 for secondary school and it as been a hugely positive start to her school life. The school offers a vast range of extra curricular activities enabling children to try all forms of music, sport and social activities including ballet, gymnastics, judo, fencing, chess and performing arts. Children leave Coworth with great confidence, manners and a broad range of skills to add to their academic success providing an exceptional foundation for the future. With small teaching groups, each child can fulfil their fullest potential and focus is given to growing each child's strengths and interests. This is shown once they leave in yr 6 by the huge success in gaining secondary school places at some of the top independent schools in the country with a number of scholarships offered. As a non selective school, this is a credit to the staff who work incredibly hard to nurture and grow the children as individuals to their fullest potential. The school offers a number of outings and residential trips in Yr 4, 5 and 6 to support the broad curriculum which the children relish! Social events are also run throughout the year for parents and children to enjoy, these events are looked forward to greatly by the children and bring the school together with a great sense of community. My children will both leave Coworth Flexlands school with many happy memories, I could not have wished for a better start for them in their school life.
