School Description

Charlotte House works closely with parents to provide a caring and supportive environment for children. In a small school, such as ours, girls develop initiative, leadership and social skills. It is our aim to encourage these qualities at every opportunity. We see girls as individuals and encourage them to achieve high academic standards in order that they may go on to the school of their choice.

Charlotte House Preparatory School Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“Nurturing small school”

Both my girls attend this lovely home from home school and they couldn't be happier! The school provides them with a caring and happy environment where they feel confident to be challenged and are motivated to learn. Being such a small school it really does feel like an extended family and this is something key in developing a nurturing and safe environment where my girls feel comfortable. They enjoy a wide range of extra curricular activities and sporting opportunities too.
“Outstanding Education”

My daughter joined in Form II, the outstanding education along with the caring and nurturing approach to the girls needs made her time at Charlotte House very happy and successful. My only wish would be that she had joined the school in Nursery.
“Charlotte House Prep School”

My daughter joined Form III at Charlotte House in in 2009. During her 3 years there, she turned from a shy, under achieving child into a confident, independent learner ready to take on the challenge of joining a large Secondary School. The Charlotte House model of teaching girls in a similar style to that of a senior school, albeit in a small and nurturing environment, prepares them well. She left Charlotte House happy, well rounded, positive and assured that she had been encouraged to achieve the 'best' of her ability. I am only sorry that we hadn't found Charlotte House years earlier.
