Ballymacward Primary School Parent Reviews

Average Parent Rating

“A*”

Numerous family members have attended the school across the years and, although it's not my closest primary, I decided to approach them for places and was delighted to be accepted. The teachers work well with the smaller class sizes and both my children have excelled academically beyond their age. Thankfully the teachers are able to push them on giving them a chance to move up onto higher keystage reading and maths groups. They enjoy the extensive after school activities and I enjoy the opportunity of watching them thrive in such a warm loving environment and the ever popular show pieces and awards evening. The children are full of confidence and pride and constantly praise one another which is obviously a reflection of what they witness themselves.
“Ballymacward”

My son is very happy and settled in this school, the small class numbers and composite teaching structure is so advantages. The teaching staff then have more time with pupils individually and will undoubtedly pick up on any areas that need improvement for each child. The school has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere and is personal as every child knows each other and look out for each other in the school. The breakfast club and after school activities are varied and fun. The children put all their effort into school shows both at Christmas and the end of year. My child has progressed wonderfully in every aspect. The classrooms are bright and spacious and the building is Morden and well kept. They have recently installed a play area and the children plant their own vegetables and watch them grow in the grounds. What more can I say!
“Great school”

Ballymacward is a fantastic school, my children are doing really well and are happy. The facilities and after school arrangements are varied and stimulating. The staff are committed and very approachable. There is such an astounding friendly welcoming atmosphere. The confidence my child has this year in his reading is wonderful. I would recommend this school to anyone!!
