School Description

West Wycombe Combined School is smaller than the average-sized primary school. Following the previous inspection, the governing body was replaced by an interim executive board. The previous headteacher left and there was a period of staffing turbulence. An interim headteacher was appointed last academic year and the new substantive headteacher took up post in September 2017. The responsibilities of the senior leadership team and subject leaders have been restructured following the headteacher’s appointment this year. Following the previous inspection, the school received formal support from the Buckinghamshire Learning Trust on behalf of the local authority. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils eligible for support through pupil premium funding is below average.
