“Our son has thrived”
When we were looking for a secondary school for our child – a bright, kind, sporty boy with dyslexia, the headmaster of his primary school suggested Thames Christian College. Our son is now in year 8 and I can honestly say that he has absolutely thrived at the school. The school is packed with dedicated staff who are able to offer an utterly personal, high quality of education tailored to our son's needs. The school brings out his best qualities – he now takes responsibility for his work and shines at many subjects. It is a truly nurturing school that does not shirk from its responsibility to give all children a top class, rigorous education with fantastic opportunities both academically and extracurricularly. We know he will excel there and be able to attain the best possible results within an environment that is never going to make him feel pressured, unhappy, inadequate or anonymous. I could not recommend the school any more highly.
“Caring school”
My son has grown so much as a student and person since joining Thames Christian College. When I asked him what he likes about Thames he said 'The teachers really care'. I think this speaks volumes about the nurturing environment that has allowed him to succeed and to believe that he is capable of whatever he sets his mind to.
“Great School”
My sons are thriving in the small and personal environment that makes Thames a very special place. Thames has excellent pastoral care and great teachers. I highly recommend it.
