School Description

The substantive headteacher was not present at the school at the time of this inspection. An interim headteacher has been working at the school since the beginning of August 2016. He works in the school for three days a week. Staff from the interim headteacher’s school, Berrywood Primary, provide support to staff at Sun Hill Juniors. The new chair of the governing body was elected at the beginning of this term. The school is currently without a substantive leader for English and mathematics, although the deputy headteacher is covering mathematics in an acting capacity.
