School Description

This is a smaller than average-sized primary school. The proportion of pupils from minority ethnic groups is much lower than average, and no pupils speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils supported through school action is below average. The proportion supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is below the national average. The proportion of pupils for whom the school receives additional funding through the pupil premium is well below the national average. (The pupil premium is additional government funding for those pupils who are known to be eligible for free school meals, children with a parent in the armed services, and those children that are looked after by the local authority.) The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress in English and mathematics. A privately run breakfast club, and after-school clubs operate on the school site.
