This is smaller than the average-sized primary school. Most pupils are of White British heritage but a growing proportion is from Indian, Polish and Filipino backgrounds. The proportion speaking English as an additional language is average, although it is growing from year to year. In 2012, the school met the government’s current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress in English and mathematics.
