The school is much larger than the average primary school, with three classes in each year group up to Year 4 and two classes in each of Years 5 and 6. The Early Years Foundation Stage consists of three Reception classes offering full time education. The proportion of pupils eligible for additional support through pupil premium funding is well above average. This is additional government funding for pupils known to be eligible for free school meals and those in local authority care.
