Prince Bishop is a special school for students with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. In April 2012, the school moved into new purpose-built premises co-located with another special school. The majority of students in the school are boys and most are of White British heritage. All of the students have a statement of special educational needs. The proportion of students known to be eligible for support through the pupil premium is wellabove average. The pupil premium is additional funding for students who are known to be eligible for free school meals, those from service families and students who are looked after. Students access alternative provision for vocational and life skills courses from The Keys in Middlesbrough. Since the last inspection, the school has maintained its accreditations.
