The school meets requirements on the publication of specified information on its website. Priesthorpe School is larger than the average secondary school. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils for whom the school receives the pupil premium is higher than the national average. Inspection report: Priesthorpe School, 31 January–1 February 2017 Page 9 of 12 Over half the pupils are from minority ethnic groups, which is almost twice the national average. The proportion of pupils who have a statement of special educational needs or an education, health and care plan is average. The school uses its own off-site provision, West 14, and a number of alternative providers including a partnership-run specialist inclusive learning centre (SILC), which is on the school’s site. The sixth form consortium partners are Crawshaw Academy and Pudsey Grangefield School. The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which are the minimum expectations for the attainment and progress in English and mathematics by the end of Year 11. In addition, the school meets the minimum interim standards for sixth forms.
