School Description

This school is much smaller than the average primary school. The proportion of pupils eligible for support through the pupil premium funding is lower than average. This is additional government funding for those pupils who are looked after by the local authority, or who are entitled to free school meals. The proportion of pupils from minority ethnic groups is lower than average. The proportion of pupils with special educational needs and disability is higher than average. There is a breakfast club and after-school club run by the governing body. The school does not meet requirements for the publication of information on the school’s website. For example, information about the use of the primary sport funding and provision for pupils with special educational needs and disability is incomplete. There have been significant changes to staffing over this academic year. The school receives support from the local authority, Peterborough Diocese, Five Wells Teaching School Alliance and Cranford Church of England Primary School. The school meets the current government floor standards, which are the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress by the end of Year 6.
