School Description

Manor School is a large special school catering for the needs of primary-aged pupils who have severe learning difficulties. Around three quarters of those on roll have autistic spectrum disorders. This proportion is increasing. All pupils have a statement of special educational needs or an education, health and care plan. Pupils come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and around two thirds speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils who are eligible for free school meals is above average. Around a quarter of the pupils are girls, in line with other similar schools. The school meets requirements on the publication of specified information on its website.
