The school is much smaller than the average-sized primary school. Most pupils are White British. The proportion of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs supported through school action is well below average. The proportion supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is above average, although none currently have a statement of special educational needs. Few pupils are eligible for support through the pupil premium. This is additional funding for pupils who are looked after by the local authority, known to be eligible for free school meals or have a parent serving in the armed forces. The headteacher is a Local Leader of Education. She is supporting improvement in several local schools.
