This forms part of the school's provision for inclusion. The school has fallen below the governments' floor standards, which are the minimum standards for pupils' attainment and progress, for the last three years. A number of pupils are currently being educated away from the school site for all or part of the time; most pupils attend Coal Clough Academy but a small number attend Burnley College, The Heights School or the Car Surgery in Burnley, and the Alternative School, Pendle.
