The Godolphin Junior Academy is a larger-than-average-sized junior school. This was the first inspection of the school since it joined The Park Federation Academy Trust in September 2016. The principal was appointed to the substantive post from October 2016 after one year as acting headteacher. She is supported by the chief executive officer of the multiacademy trust, who is a national leader of education. The proportion of pupils who are eligible for pupil premium funding is higher than in other schools nationally. Overall, the proportion of pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities is below average. The proportion with a statement of special educational needs or education, health and care plan is above average because the school has a specialist resource base for up to eight pupils with complex learning needs.
