The school is a larger than average-sized junior school. It is federated with Fernwood Infant School which is on the same site. Most pupils move to the school from Fernwood Infant School at the start of Year 3. There is one executive headteacher and governing body who work across the federation. A head of school oversees the day to day running of the school.
