The school is much smaller than the average-sized primary school. Most pupils are from White British backgrounds. This is additional funding for pupils in local authority care, those known to be eligible for free school meals and those with a parent in the armed forces. The proportion of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs supported through school action is average. The proportion of pupils supported through school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is well below average. The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress. The school works in partnership with the Wellingborough Education Partnership, providing support to neighbouring primary schools. The school provides a breakfast club for pupils at the start of each day and after-school activities.
