Pupils enjoy attending Lyndhurst Primary. Pupils understand and embody the school’s key principles, such as advocacy. They aim to do this through the caring and kind relationships they have with others. Pupils are kept safe and feel safe here. Behaviour in lessons is calm and orderly, which allows pupils to focus on their learning. At breaktimes, behaviour is also well managed. Pupils engage well with their friends in the playground and appreciate the activities that are provided for them. Leaders are ambitious for all pupils to succeed. The curriculum is generally designed and implemented to realise this ambition. Where this is not the case, leaders have appropriate plans in place to further develop what pupils learn. Pupils value the different enrichment activities that they take part in. These include drama, chess, art, gardening and dance. Pupils are also starting to take on the responsibility of choosing and setting up their own clubs, and are proud to do so. Pupils are supported to contribute well to the wider life of the school. The elected school council are currently working on re-designing the playground. Pupils also enjoy participating in the school radio station through interviews and making other recordings.

2015 GCSE RESULTSImportant information for parents
Due to number of reforms to GSCE reporting introduced by the government in 2014, such as the exclusion of iGCSE examination results, the official school performance data may not accurately report a school’s full results. For more information, please see About and refer to the section, ‘Why does a school show 0% on its GSCE data dial? In many affected cases, the Average Point Score will also display LOW SCORE as points for iGCSEs and resits are not included.
Schools can upload their full GCSE results by registering for a School Noticeboard. All school results data will be verified.
